His Christmas Delight is a heart warming romance set around Christmas in Goa.
Caught by Santa in her misdeeds!
For Myra, Christmas means supporting her friends. They rallied round getting her back on her feet after she lost Pete, her husband, so she’s always ready to help any of them. No matter to what lengths the challenge makes her go. Only she didn’t expect to find Santa almost catching her in her wrongdoings. Then she finds that the handsome Santa is Jay, her old high school friend. Now he’s changed from a gangly geek to an attractive stranger. After missing out on the dating scene for a long time after losing Pete, she feels the first stirring of desire. But Jay is playing hot and cold, refusing to admit the attraction sizzling between them.
He’s back in Goa just for Christmas
Jay knew Myra as his best friend’s girl. Now Pete is gone, but Jay is finding difficult to let go of the scars he picked up during Coast Guard service. He’s home only to help revive his brother’s toy shop. When he finds himself making excuses to stay, he knows he’s crossing the limits he’d set himself. What’s the purpose in taking this further when he knows he cannot be the one to give her the happiness she deserves? But no matter how hard he tries, the scorching flames of wanting only seem to get stronger. How can he keep on denying the attraction between them when she insists on coming close?
‘You’ve changed a lot,’ she observed. She couldn’t drag her gaze from him.
Sliding into the booth opposite him in an automatic movement, she couldn’t help marveling at the metamorphosis.
The gangly kid had filled out. Hell, he’d never been a kid sort of kid. He’d hung around his brother and everyone had pretended they didn’t mind having him about. Nobody voiced the real, indisputable fact. They needed him. Jay was the smartest kid in their group. A miracle worker with just about any kind of stuff they needed to keep their ‘band’ going. He fixed their guitars, wiring, speakers, their second hand recording apparatus. The list was endless.
‘Changed? Really? How?’ A dark eyebrow lifted.
Surely he knew it? She looked him over, not knowing where to start. The way his shirt tautly stretched over broad shoulders? The way his muscles flexed even in casual movement? She couldn’t miss the bunch of biceps. Her gaze travelled up a column of neck to the strong jaw.
Surely it hadn’t been this well-chiseled? Her perusal went on…the straight line of his nose…his mouth… Her breath stopped for an instant…such absolute perfection. The upper lip thinner than the sensuously full lower lip.
He’d never been the ugly duckling but he’d grown up into one lean, mean swan.
